St. Pauli fans still have to wait a week before they can visit their Millerntor Stadium again in the Bundesliga. But beer, bratwurst and cola will cost more in the future.
Shortly before the first home game in the new Bundesliga season against Borussia Dortmund (August 23, 6.30 p.m.), FC St. Pauli has bad news for fans. The food is now more expensive.
In the future, half a liter of beer will cost 5.50 euros instead of 5.20 euros, the club said on Thursday. So far, soft drinks such as Fritz-Kola or Mischmash have cost 4.30 euros-now fans are paying 4.50 each. The first division team increases the price of meat sausages by 30 cents each. A bratwurst now costs 5.10 euros, a currywurst 5.70 euros. Advantage for all fans who live vegetarian or vegan: vegetable alternatives are not more expensive.
The association announced: “All those responsible at FC St. Pauli are aware that rising prices are a burden for many fans, so the association only takes this step after thorough consideration and with the hope of understanding.”
