In the TM rumor mill, Willem Geubels from FC St. Gallen is a strongly courted player-the 1. FC Köln and Borussia Mönchengladbach were also associated with him this summer. According to a “L’équipe” report, the 23-year-old center forward will move to his French homeland to Paris FC. The Ligue-1 promoter is ready to transfer the market value of the player to the corresponding 10 million euros.
In 2018, the AS Monaco paid 20 million euros for the then 16-year-old Geubels, who was unable to meet the high expectations neither in principality nor in his loan to FC Nantes. In January 2023, the transfer -free move to St. Gallen followed, where his performance curve pointed up last season: in 31 league games he was involved in 17 goals and increased its market value from EUR 2.5 million to EUR 10 million.
