A cyclist was seriously injured on Thursday morning in an accident on the Postelseweg in Eersel. A car drove onto the road from an exit and overlooked the cyclist on the double cycle path. A trauma helicopter was called up. The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The fell so fast that the fire brigade was also called. In the end, the trauma helicopter and fire brigade were not necessary. The man was treated in the ambulance for his serious injuries and taken to the hospital.
The cycle path was closed for a while because of the accident. The police have taken care of the remaining bicycle.
