The transfer saga around Nick Woltemade and FC Bayern have been going on for a few weeks. Now she could be over soon.

The deal for changing from Nick Woltemade to FC Bayern Munich seems to have finally burst. The reason: VfB Stuttgart does not let its striker, which had been started last season. As the “Bild” reports, there was another video call between the Bavaria and VfB bosses on Wednesday afternoon.

CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, sports director Max Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund were represented for Bavaria, the Stuttgarter were present with CEO Alexander Wehrle, sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth and sports director Christian Gentner. At this meeting, Bayern tried a new offer.

Accordingly, the German record champion wanted to pay a transfer fee of 55 million euros for Woltemade. In addition, the Woltemade page would have dispensed with the commission that VfB should have paid in the event of a change. According to information from the tabloid, this sum is said to have been ten percent of the transfer.

But the Swabians stayed hard and also rejected this offer. The Swabians allegedly demand at least 70 million euros for their superstar. The German champion will probably not pay this sum.

After the failed conversations, Woltemades advisor Danny Bachmann started the Bayern bosses on Wednesday evening: “In March 2024 and last in mid-June, VfB’s clear promise for a solution-oriented approach, as soon as the next step in the career is possible. The national player is an enormous opportunity, ”Bachmann told the German Press Agency. But Stuttgart seems to be installing this chance of the 23-year-old.

According to the consultant, the transfer fee of around 70 to 75 million euros that VfB calls for is “alien”. In this respect, everything looks like that the tall striker will be chasing goals for the Swabians next year.
