In a bus in Eindhoven, 405 laughing gas bottles were found by the police on Wednesday evening. The bus was fully furnished with concrete plates and the rear seats had been removed for transporting large boxes. The driver has been arrested.
Agents saw the bus pass by on Wednesday evening in Eindhoven. The driver drove at high speed and bounced heavily over the thresholds on the road. According to the police, the bus had large bare tires due to wear and the sharp parts on the bus were attached with duct tape.
Cardboard boxes
Agents stopped the driver. When they looked into the trunk of the bus, they saw a large amount of cardboard boxes. They immediately recognized the boxes as boxes that contained laughing gas bottles.
The bus was seized by the police and the driver was arrested. Agents counted the laughing gas bottles on the desk and it turned out to be 405 bottles. The police are further investigating the find.
