Summer is ending and soon the appointments around Europe with live tours return intense. However, there is also to be watched for the new year and between PokerStars Open and European Poker Tour there is a lot to say. The champion’s stage confirmed, the “problem” Paris resolved. Here is the detail

Open returns to champion

Scrolling through the calendar of the next poker “season”, the eye can only go and search for the Italian PokerStars of Campione d’Italia. Where the new Live Tour began will live (rightly) a new adventure next year. Luca Pagano had been clear in setting the objectives of the new Live Room. A few months ago another thumb had arrived upwards with the Italian Poker Challenge but now it’s official. The new live vintage will be inaugurated with the PokerStars Open in that of champion. Let’s point out the dates: from January 23 to February 1st The 1,100 euro buyin event is back. The “debut” was truly record with 2,423 total entries and a prize pool that had dubbed the guaranteed. The success went to Adrian State with Italy who defended himself with honor at the final table. The official program, however, certainly does not end there
Live 2026 poker calendar: Paris there

The second big appointment scheduled is theEpt of Paris which in 2025 jumped for bureaucratic problems related to French legislation. For 2026, however, all resolved and an event confirmed by appointment at the Palais de Congres from 18 February until the very first days of March. It will then be up to the “old” Irish Open catalyze the attention of the players. You will remember that a few months ago the good Umberto Ruggeri surrendered only in the final head against Simon Wilson. The expectation is also high for the year that will come. The weeks of the Irish Poker will be at the turn of the end of March and early April. The last two live stages already on the calendar are divided between EPT and Open.
