Since the founding of the elderly party 50PLUS in 2010, the party is plagued by crises and quarrels. At the peak, the party with the figurehead Henk Krol reached 4 seats in the Lower House. In the last elections, the party did not get a seat in the Chamber. In the upcoming elections, 50PLUS tries it again, with police maker Jan Struijs as a new party leader.
