“The things I intend to share are things I had sworn to tell a therapist,” says the actor in the trailer, among other things. According to Netflix, his upbringing is discussed and the actor looks back on chapters from his life that he has rarely spoken in public.
The documentary also contains interviews with family and friends with Carlos Estevez, as the actor is officially called. Among others, his ex-wife Denise Richards, brother Ramon Estevez, Sean Penn and even his former drug dealer speak.
The 59-year-old Sheen is known for his roles in sitcoms such as Spin City and Two and a Half Men. The latter in particular was successful and Sheen was one of the best -paid actors on American television for a while. His career, however, went downhill after he was fired at Two and A Half Men because of excessive drug use and whimsical behavior. According to the announcement of the documentary, Sheen is now sober for seven years.
