“We have emphasized that no player is not for sale and that we have to weigh up the sporting value against the economic value for every potential transfer. Moritz Broschinski presented himself in a good constitution and confirmed this impression at the beginning of the season. However, he now went into his last contract year, a perspective on extension. Constellation has clearly moved the exceptional offer of FC Basel to weighing up to the economy.
Instead of in the 2nd Bundesliga, Broschinski plays with Basel under coach Ludovic Magnin International. The Swiss play their playoff games in qualifying for the Champions League at the end of August. The native Finsterwaldener is a center forward number four in the squad next to Kevin Carlos, Albian Ajeti and Kaio Eduardo and will play on the side of ex-Munich, among others. Other applicants are said to have been FC St. Gallen and Sturm Graz.
