The poker around Nick Woltemade has been going on for many weeks now. VfB Stuttgart is now increasing the pressure.

VfB Stuttgart increases the pressure on FC Bayern in the transfer poker around Nick Woltemade. CEO Alexander Wehrle made it clear that the Munich team no longer had unlimited time. The “Stuttgarter Zeitung” he said: “We will play the Supercup on Saturday. Everything should be clarified by the kick -off at the latest.” At 8:30 p.m., VfB will meet the German record champions in Stuttgart – it is about the first title of the new season.

So far, Bayern is said to have offered 50 million euros plus up to five million euros in bonus payments for the 23-year-old striker. However, the DFB Cup winner should only be ready to talk from a transfer fee of 65 million euros.

The upcoming farewell to Kingsley Coman could ensure additional dynamics. According to matching media reports, the Frenchman is about to move to the Saudi Arabian club al-Nassr. The Bundesliga club would therefore receive around 30 million euros for this – and would have more financial scope for a transfer from Woltemade.

Wehrle emphasized that the talks could not go on endlessly. “It is now a distance of six and a half weeks. At some point it is good,” he said. If you really want to commit the player, you have to “achieve a solution during this time”.
