Britain is sending 6,000 missiles and £25million (almost £30million) to Ukraine to support the army. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made this known on the eve of important NATO, European Union and G7 meetings (seven major economies) that will take place on Thursday.
These include anti-tank weapons, of which Britain previously supplied 4,200 to Ukraine, according to British media. Johnson says of the latest delivery that his country wants to “strengthen Ukraine’s defenses as the tide turns”.
More aid measures for Kiev are likely to be announced at the summits on Thursday.
