Lukas Kwasniok confirmed the interest of 1. FC Köln in Raphael Obermair on Friday. The full -back and captain of SC Paderborn can be used defensively on both wings and offensive. The billy goats agree with the player, but the ex-club of today’s FC trainer still blocks.
“It is the case that I don’t want to say anything about some personal details. With this personnel, however, it is the case that there is a strong interest on our part,” said Kwasniok. “The player is 29 years old and it would be nice if you would give him the opportunity to show what he has in the Bundesliga. In search of another left foot for central defense, the 1. FC Köln has apparently found what they were looking for in Spain. Like the Spanish journalist Héctor Gómes on Wednesday evening on the platform X reported, the Bundesliga club is faced with a commitment from Cenk Özkacar from FC Valencia.
The nine -time Turkish international is to be borrowed for one year. Following the loan, the Cologne residents should have a purchase option of around two million euros. Last season Özkacar was already awarded to the league competitor Real Valladolid. On Thursday afternoon, the 24-year-old is scheduled to complete his medical check in the cathedral city.
