Blxst and Zacari have one thing in common. Both rappers are more or less known through rap star Kendrick Lamar. While Blxst garnered more attention with his 2015 remix for Lamar, Zacari made it in 2017 with their collaborative song LOVE. Several guest appearances followed for Zacari on Lamar’s album BLACK PANTHER: THE ALBUM.
Speaking of working with Blxst, Zacari said, “Working with Blxst was freaking easy, it was organic, we’re both quick on the mic so it flowed. It was great to work with another young West Coast singer, we’re about to take on RIP Nate Dogg.”
