VfB Stuttgart shot to the cup victory, but now Enzo Millot turns the Swabian back. Goal: a club in Saudi Arabia.

Enzo Millot will leave VfB Stuttgart and will play for Al-Nahli in Saudi Arabia in the future. The 23-year-old Frenchman signed a contract at the club of the German coach Matthias Jaissle until 2027. The transfer brings the Stuttgart to around 30 million euros according to matching media reports.

Millot had been in use for VfB since 2021 and had recently asked for a change. In addition to Al-Ahli, Atlético Madrid and Galatasaray Istanbul are also said to have shown interest. His contract in Stuttgart originally ran until 2028.

In Saudi Arabia, Millot meets Jaissle, who had led Al-Nahli to win the Asian Champions League in May and is said to have worked hard for the obligation of the midfielder.

Millot did not play a role under coach Bruno Labbadia at times, but under Sebastian Hoeneß he developed into a top performer. In the DFB Cup final against Arminia Bielefeld (4: 2), he met twice and thus played a large part in winning the title.
