Due to fire in two houses in Bergen op Zoom, one of the residents was injured and taken to the hospital. This is reported by a spokeswoman for the Central and West Brabant Security Region. It is unclear how serious the victim is.
The fire was probably created in a shed of one of the two terraced houses. The fire was then skipped to the house and then through the attic also to the house next to it.
The fire brigade used aerial platforms for the fire on the copper box and tried to prevent the fire from expanding further. A short time later the fire was under control. The residents of both houses have been evacuated.
It was advised to stay out of smoke on neighbors and bystanders.
