According to reliable German sources, Leverkusen and AZ have reached an agreement on a transfer from the super -fast attacker and the medical inspection will take place in the short term, after which Poku can sign a contract until mid -2030 in the event of a positive outcome in Leverkusen.

The transition from Poku to the club of trainer Erik ten Hag, just after the European preliminary round against FC Vaduz, gained momentum. AZ was not yet able to capture Poku longer. Because of his still one -year commitment, it seems like a solution to get rid of him for a million -in -law. German media already reported a transfer fee of ten million euros.

At a Done deal, Poku will be the second Dutch summer gain of Ten Hag, after Orange goalkeeper Mark Flekken. Malik Tillman from national champion PSV also went to Leverkusen. The Germans were still looking for extra reinforcement on the flank, partly due to the departure of Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool.
