MBO students usually do an internship in their own region. But that does not apply to students from the TT institute of the Drenthe College. They tinker with cars throughout Europe, but during The Racing Day they stay close to home.
The field of activity of Jelle Jongsma, Max van Stenis and Sander Stel is the TT Circuit in Assen this weekend. “It is great to be here, nice and close to home,” says Stenis trainee.
It is certainly close to home if you compare it to the places where the students are for the rest of the year: Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium and Austria. The future engineers do an internship at MP Motorsport. A racing team that is active in various racing classes, including Formula 2 and Formula 3.
