Bas Smit gets a lot of criticism around his ears because of the plastic slippers that he tries to put on the people. Now he also gets Evert Santegoeds on his roof. “What an attack on the environment!”
There is a lot of controversy about the slippers of the Happyflops brand. The company behind those slippers runs entirely on celebrities and influencers who pretend to be a great product, while according to De Telegraaf it is just stuff of Temu quality. However, you have to dock for that, especially to make all those influencers rich.
Temu-slippers
One of those influencers is Bas Smit. He appears on the Socials every day to promote those slippers, but now sees it going wrong. “It’s certainly going wrong, because those things just cost two quarters at the Temu,” Evert Santegoeds shouts in the podcast Strictly private. “He sells it for 50 euros.”
Together for the people who believe in Him, says Evert. “Nice if a few people kick in, but I would say: don’t believe everything that Bas Smit says, because he also gets everything from China!”
Suez Canal
Bas is just promoting Chinese junk, says Evert. “If the Suez channel becomes again occupied by a tanker that is transfersed, then Bas Smit will also keep his business.”
“It is terrible. What an attack on the environment is this again. Especially when they last three days, as I read, with some people. In three days they had shrunk four sizes!”
