Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband Brandon Blackstock died of cancer at the age of 48. The family confirmed death to Rolling Stone with the words:
“With great grief we share that Brandon Blackstock died. Brandon fought bravely against cancer for over three years. He fell asleep peacefully in the circle of his family.”

Kelly Clarkson and Brendon Blackstock started their relationship in 2012 and married in 2013. Together they received two children: daughter River (born 2014) and son Remington (born 2016). Blackstock was also the former stepson of country singer Reba Mcentire.
