Communication from the Cabinet of the King:
Today, January 10, 2022, His Majesty the King has resigned in the most honorable manner at their request and on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:
- Dr HPM Knapen, Minister of Foreign Affairs;
- Dr. FBJ Grapperhaus, Minister of Justice and Security;
- drs. IK Van Engelshoven, Minister of Education, Culture and Science;
- HGJ Kamp, Minister of Defence;
- drs. B. Visser, Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment;
- drs. SA Blok, Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate;
- W. Koolmees, Minister of Social Affairs and Employment;
- drs. Th. JAM de Bruijn, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation;
- drs. S. Dekker, Minister for Legal Protection;
- drs. A. Slob, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education and Media;
- B. van ‘t Wout, Minister;
as well as:
- mr. A. Broekers-Knol, State Secretary for Justice and Security;

The King has not resigned to:
- drs. M. Rutte, Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs;
- mr. WB Hoekstra. He has been most honorably relieved of the charge of the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister and has been entrusted with the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- drs. CJ Schouten. She has been most honorably relieved of the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and has been appointed Minister for Poverty Policy, Participation and Pensions. She remains Deputy Prime Minister;
- HM the Younger. He has been most honorably relieved of the capacity of Deputy Prime Minister and of the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Sports and is in charge of Housing and Spatial Planning matters;
- drs. KH Ollongren. She has been most honorably relieved of the capacity of Deputy Prime Minister and of the leadership of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and she is charged with the leadership of the Ministry of Defence.
The King has also appointed:

- D. Yeşilgöz-Zegerius as Minister of Justice and Security;
- HGJ Bruins Slot as Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations;
