Handball Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo Lippe has bound back room player Hendrik Wagner “in the long term”. The club announced this on Wednesday evening.

According to this, Wagner extended prematurely until 2029, his age contract ran until the end of the coming season. “His attitude, his will to win and his character are exemplary. We are happy to continue to build on his qualities,” said TBV coach Florian Kehrmann.

Wagner switched to Lemgo from league competitor HSG Wetzlar in 2024. With 89 goals and 49 assists, the 27-year-old became a central service provider in the past season.

“The professional club management, the committed coaching team, a great team and our passionate fans make the TBV the perfect overall package for me. I really feel good here,” said Wagner.
