Tech pushes AEX down; rates fear and economic figures put Wall Street in the minus

The negative sentiment on Wall Street has also ruined the mood on the Damrak. In the last one and a half hour of trade, the AEX had to give up its profit from earlier in the day and closed 0.2 percent lower at 887.1 points. Amsterdam turned red after investors putting on Wall Street on loss due to disappointing economic figures and emerging fear of rates due to Trump statements about trading rates. The compelling tech shares were the great losers in the AEX.
