Municipalities in Drenthe score well when it comes to generating electricity through solar panels. All Drenthe municipalities score higher than the national average of 1.4 kilowatt peak (KWP) per house, with Tynaarlo as the outlier (2.69 kWp).
This is according to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS)
AA and Hunze (2.61 KWP) and Borger-Odoorn (2.50 kWp) also score well nationwide. In Meppel and Assen, on average, the least current per house is generated by solar panels.
