Alderman Gerrie Hempen from the municipality of De Wolden is leaving the board of the Zuidwest-Drenthe area cooperative next spring. That step is taken because Hempen is the portfolio holder of the topics that play within the cooperative. It must prevent a hint of a conflict of interest.
