Wendy van Dijk acknowledges that she can hardly be seen as a presenter at SBS 6. What is going on? Well, today’s success Inside and the Oranjezomer … “There is no room anymore.”
It seems that Wendy van Dijk has committed a huge blunder by switching from RTL 4 to SBS 6. Since she is sitting with John de Mol’s TV channel, her career has become free. Very occasionally she can still be seen with a serial of those of the three, but it also stops. She does not present anything anymore and nothing is planned.
No place by VI
Wendy gives Shownieuws Enjoy a TV dip. What is her next presentation step? “I don’t know yet. No, we are in conversation, but the programs have to pass that also suit me.”
She continues: “They are often the larger Saturday evening shows or Friday evening shows and there are not many nowadays, isn’t it. It is a lot of live of course. The Oranjezomer, Talk shows. A lot of live. So for the time being it is acting and dancing.”
Do act
SBS 6 has given Wendy a roll in the West Medical Center. “We now have a summer break and soon the last three blocks and then the whole series will be on it. I am enjoying a lot of enjoyment. I really enjoy acting again.”
How do it have to go with her presentation career? “That candid camera program, she did a lot of fun,” notes private boss Evert Santegoeds.
Banana split
Colleague Jordi Versteegden finds a return of whom the last laughs also a good one. “Yes, that was a kind of banana split 2.0 and she was just very strong at that. In the past with Ushi & Dushi.”
Evert: “Yes, but when she’s working on it, she doesn’t say so, because then everyone is alert on hidden cameras.”

Finally, Jordi: “Yes, she does that too, with Martien Meiland, among other things, but at the moment there are no new recordings yet.”
