The Asser Folding car manufacturer Campooz is taken over by Kip Company in Hoogeveen, the parent company of Kip Caravans. With that, Campooz will soon be moving to the factory of the caravan manufacturer in Hoogeveen.
Campooz went bankrupt last month. It soon became apparent that various parties were interested in a restart of the trailer manufacturer. Today Kip announces that the Campooz is taking over, making a restart possible. Campooz is housed under the parent company of chicken caravans, says curator Peter Sluyter.
What will happen to the Campooz staff is not yet entirely clear. “We are looking at what staff can do with it to chicken caravans. But because they are both manufacturers in the same industry, chicken can look in her entire company whether people can be placed,” said Sluyter.
Campooz will soon move to Hoogeveen, says Sluyter. “That will happen with a few weeks.” With the acquisition, Kip Caravans wants to strengthen its position in the market for unique camping equipment and appeal to a wider audience, the company reports.
