The site in Damme is vast and is located in the middle of sunflowers, lavender fields and corn. The six stages are spread over the landscape and embedded at resting points and lookouts. This setup ensures that the visitor flow is spread and that it doesn’t feel really busy anywhere.
“On Campo Solar you will travel a bit. You will find yourself like God in France or Italy,” says organizer Karel Standaert. “You make your way through the beautiful landscape, with straw bales and lavender, and discover small places everywhere to relax.”
Campo Solar grows year after year and offers an alternative to those who prefer to keep it calm. Despite the large number of visitors, the atmosphere continues to relax. The festival consciously aims for experience, and less for mass. A formula that clearly catches on.
