De Vlaeminck was under the bar in five games during the Relegation Play-Offs last season and convinced the board. “Ebbe showed himself as a reliable pawn that wants to work for this club,” says Sporting Director Nils Vanneste. “We didn’t want to wait and immediately show our appreciation with this contract extension.”
In addition to Ebbe de Vlaeminck, the guys also have the Serbian Marko Ilic and the Icelander Patrik Gunnarsson as options under the bar.
