Luuk Ikink has been the somewhat colorless face of RTL Boulevard for years, but he is nevertheless richly rewarded for that. Where do all those RTL tons go? “Bought new kitchen.”
The 42-year-old Luuk Ikink is the type of TV presenter to which the gossip magazines hardly look around: no slippers, no drinking accidents, no chatgpt-miners, nothing. He is apparently too colorless for TV, but his salary as a daily face of the eve evening section of RTL 4 is really not wrong. Where do all those RTL tons actually go?
No spender
Luuk reveals on the RTL site That he likes to live consciously and sparingly. He shares that he and his wife recently invested in a new kitchen. “If Simone and I spend money, we always do that well. For the renovation, for example, we have thought and saved well, and we opted for a kitchen that will certainly stay in it for forty years.”
A ‘smart edition’, he calls it. “I also love saving. I got that from home; my father worked at a bank. I am not that spender. “
RTL-TON
As long as Luuk is at RTL, he can save a lot. What are his ambitions? “What my goals are now? I want to stay with Boulevard for as long as possible.”
And that’s it. He does not have to climb higher up the BN’er ladder. “I get a lot of invitations for premieres, but I never save that – they often start during the Boulevard broadcast. But even if I had a choice, I would probably skip them.”
Soil
In fact, Luuk does not like that BN’er gadem at all. “I think it is the hassle. If there is a work drink, I think it is important to show my face from time to time. But when I am there, I always see people looking very surprised: Oh, are you there? They find it wonderful when I get up.”
He would rather just sit in the garden. “After my work I go home and at the weekend I like to be in the garden. I also have no trouble not going on vacation for a year. I think staying at home is completely fine. Whether I sometimes come to the temptation to go to parties?”
