Max Verstappen then raved primarily from “her performance in the medium-fast area, which is really impressive. I would say better than with all other teams,” said the four-time world champion, who has very bad cards in the fight for the World Cup crown.
The front axle of the McLaren MCL39 is “incredibly good, without the rear becoming unstable,” added the Dutch. “This is something that we also have to achieve,” he demands, knowing how high this hurdle is for him and his team.
McLaren boss: Verstappen is correct
At McLaren, they took note of the hymn of praise with benevolence. Team boss Andrea Stell also made no secret that the Dutch hit the mark with his analysis.
“This is a simple question, because it can be answered solely by the GPS data. If you look at the speed comparison with some other teams, the data show that McLaren can achieve the highest cornering speed in medium-quick curves,” says the Italian. “I therefore think that Max ‘assessment is correct.”
Stella: McLaren also has weak points
At the same time, Stella, McLaren did not try to describe as perfect and/or unbeatable. “Of course we still have weak points. If you look at very fast curves like Copse or Pouhon, for example, we are not the fastest car there,” the team boss stacked deeply.
