Shortly before 9 a.m. on Friday morning (August 1st), police forces discovered a deer in the so -called “Space Camp”, an area in front of the entrance to the Infield of the Wacken Open Air. Wacken Open Air is one of the largest metal festivals worldwide and, according to the organizer, is fully sold out with 85,000 guests. The fact that there is no longer any problems with such a festival size is due to the good organization and support by the emergency services on site. In addition, the sworn Wacken community also seems to have well under control-despite beer and sometimes difficult conditions through rain and mud.
The police had already praised the festival goers on the journey because they would have followed the instructions of the authorities and organizers on the whole. There were no major problems, the Schleswig-Holstein police reported on Tuesday to X.
