New York (dpa-AFX)-Inspired by surprisingly strong quarterly figures from Microsoft and Meta (Meta Platforms (ex Facebook)), the US exchanges jumped on further records on Thursday. The market width S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 dominated by Tech heavyweights reached maximum brands at the beginning of the trade. The leading index Dow Jones Industrial remained again, in the Dow the big tech shares are less weighted.
The S&P 500 index (S&P 500) increased by 0.6 percent to 6,400 points. The Nasdaq 100 also rose 0.6 percent to 23,494 points. At 0.1 percent, the Dow (Dow Jones Industrial) was only moderate in plus 44,514 points./Bek/He
