TSG Hoffenheim also looks at Belgium when looking for a replacement for the injured right -back Valentin Gendrey (25). There, two candidates have come into the focus of the Kraichgauer. Offers are said to have been submitted to Louis Patris (24) from VV St. Truiden and Bryan Reynolds (24) from the KVC Westerlo.
US international Reynolds has a market value of 3.5 million euros and thus a higher than Patris (2 million). According to journalist Tom Bogert, Westerlo rejected a Hoffenheim offer for a loan, the discussions between the clubs would continue. According to reporter Claudio Reulens, the Belgian club favors a firm transfer. After a previous loan in the summer of 2023, Reynolds changed from AS Rome to Westerlo for 3.3 million euros, for which he was on the field 107 times (3 goals/13 templates). Reynolds, whose contract runs until 2027, wants to go this summer, it is said.

Patris, on the other hand, only switched from the RSC Anderlecht to St. Truiden for just under 1.8 million euros and signed a contract until 2029. The former Belgian U21 international had already spent the last season on loan at the club and contributed a goal and eight templates in 33 games. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, TSG also thinks of a loan from Patris – each with a purchase option. According to Reulens, the Hoffenheim price presentation of 2.5 million euros ranges, but St. Truiden also wants a direct sale.

The injured Gendrey is the only regular right-back in the TSG squad. He recently diagnosed a crack of syndesmosis and a break of the outer ankle.
