Oliver Oppermann takes on the role of Vice President Brand at Gabor.
He will start his new position in September, the German shoe provider said on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the future role of Markus Reheis, Head of Brand, will be clarified.
Oppermann brings comprehensive experience in the development and implementation of demanding brand and premium concepts and has know-how in the operationalization of brand concepts in cooperation with trade and the transformation of companies into brand-centered organizations. At Gabor, he should use this knowledge to significantly shape the company on the way to the brand-driven organization.

Over the past two years, Oppermann has been self -employed as a consultant – according to the LinkedIn career network. Before that, he was active for the Outerwear brand Alphatauri as Chief Marketing Officer belonging to the Red Bull Group. He also worked for the German sporting manner Adidas as Head of Communication Area Central by the end of 2005.
