Transfers of 16, 17 or 18-year-old talent are now the order of the day. But FC Bayern is apparently also looking for newcomers in younger age groups.
Bayern have reportedly signed 13-year-old Mike Wisdom from Borussia Mönchengladbach. As Sky reports, the young striker should play for the offspring of the German record champions from summer. The Bayern scouts are said to have been watching him for over a year and a half.
BVB and Bayer Leverkusen were also interested in Wisdom, but lost the race against Munich. According to Sky, Bayern have to pay around 300,000 euros for the young striker’s signature. The sum results from a bonus for signing the contract, which was negotiated with the parents, and from training compensation to Borussia. This is more than 20,000 euros, it is said.
Wisdom is planned for the U15. There the fast and dribbling youngster should go hunting for goals from the summer.
