After his end of the contract with the Austrian relegation relegation, Keanan Bennetts found a new club. The ex-Gladbacher returns to England and joins Notts County. Bennetts had successfully presented himself in a trial training at the fourth division club, in which the left rail player is undergoing a one -year contract.
“We are very happy to have contracted Keanan,” said football director Roberto Gagliardi. “Keanan combines all the characteristics that you want from an offensive full -back, especially his speed, strength and strength – properties that we absolutely wanted to include this summer in our squad. He combines these strengths with a strong dribbling and a lot of talent, which makes him an exciting player.”
Bennetts changed from Tottenham to Gladbach in 2018, but he could not prevail – also due to injury. After a loan to Ipswich Town, the path led to the 2nd Bundesliga of Darmstadt 98 and Wia Wiesbaden, where the big breakthrough was also denied. In the past second half of the season, the German-Englander for Austria Klagenfurt was 455 minutes on the pitch in eleven missions.
