Marianne Vos is one of the crowd pullers at the Wieler criterion of De Kaai in Roosendaal on Monday 4 August. The Brabantse is currently impressing the Tour de France Femmes, where she wears the yellow jersey.

The organization of the Draake van de Kaai wanted to capture the 38-year-old Vos and succeeded. A day after the finish in France, she travels to Roosendaal. “We are very happy that she is coming to our criterion, Marianne likes to cycle here,” says the organization.

Among the women is also Dutch champion Lorena Wiebes at the start of the cycling criterion. For the men, Thymen Arensman, who won the Tour in Boxmeer on Monday evening, is a public favorite.

Eight Van Chaam
On Wednesday, July 30, cycling toppers will be at the start of the eight of Chaam. With Jonathan Milan, the winner of the green jersey in the Tour de France, Dutch champion Danny van Poppel and European champion Tim Merlier, who is also going to cycle in Roosendaal, there are three toppers who have already said yes to the organization. Dutch pros Frank van den Broek and Pascal Eenkhoorn will also cycle around the church.

Jan Janssen also comes on the course in Chaam. The winner of the Tour de France in 1968 gives the start of the retro race, one of the games before the pros start.

Etten-Leur
Wielerans can see their cycling heroes in Etten-Leur in action on Sunday 17 August. Like the women’s world champion Lotte Kopecky and with the men Belgian champion Tim Wellens. The organization has a little to tie more toppers.

Special sprint duel
A striking competition in Etten-Leur is a sprint match between Olympic Champion Baanwielrenen Harry Lavreysen and his competitor Jeffrey Hoogland. In total, the rivals sprint against each other three times. This time not on the track, but on the road.
