Readers of Iltalehti dismiss the decrease in Fazer’s chocolate bars.
Yesterday Monday Iltalehti reported Fazer to reduce his 200 grams of chocolate to 180 grams. Classic chocolates, known as Fazer’s blue, milk socks and economic chocolate, for example, become smaller during the fall.
We asked the readers’ opinion on the whole change.
Most respondents believe that the background is the greed of business owners. Some believe that the smaller size of the chocolate bar supports public health, while others are wondering if you have to buy two chocolate bar when baking. In many recipes, the amount of chocolate is 200 grams.
Many readers declare that they boycott Fazer, but there are also understanders.
“Fazer to boycott”
– There are reasons for reducing the size of the plate and it is Fazer’s greed. I will stop buying Fazer’s chocolate and other products, says nickname Jallu.
– Come on, and still claim that the price will not rise, shit berries. Oddly enough, in the rest of the world, this is not constantly happening. Fazer to boycott, I start ordering chocolate from abroad.
– There has been a consultant here to train domestic industry on maximizing profit. Works in the short term, and that’s enough for the next result! Old bone to write.
– There is a taste of fraud and scam to reduce the chocolate bar. As if it is misleading to understand that either the same cheaper or the actual price increase is desired, Olli says.
– Fazer’s products to boycott, greed with its limits, the goal only raises the price per kilo, writes MiG.
– Almost completely pulling. There is always a reason, but the ultimate reason is the greed. Let’s try to cover up price increases in the belief that the Finn is unable to count, the pleasure suspects.
– I do not think it is a manufacturer’s desire to be concerned about consumer prices. That is the clean business, the business only believes.
– The enormous greed of the owners, 10 percent out of the product and explained smoothly about the cost, the margin is huge anyway. I boycotted all Fazer’s products in the future. The store starting with L has a large selection of competitors better quality chocolates and at a cheaper price per kilo, JK-62 promises.
– The same cunt in Finland has continued for a long time; The matchsticks are smaller, the sticks are so hard that you break when scratching. Valio has reduced yogurt jars, but the price has risen. Finns’ salaries have not risen by a third, but many products are, Katunmies writes.
– In fact, the world market prices of cocoa and coffee have been falling for some time, but the only place in the world that does not affect, Finland is Finland. That’s why I always prefer Swedish, Börje says.
– Decreasing chocolate bar is a communications worse than raising the price. The reduction annoys many more when, in a way, the customer is considered stupid, the boycott believes.
“I haven’t bought for years”
– I haven’t bought Fazer’s chocolate bars for a while. The price-quality ratio is not ok. Fortunately, you don’t have to buy any chocolate at all, Rohmu says.
– I haven’t bought Fazer’s chocolate for over 40 years, yes from other manufacturers. A bad selection, no lactose -free alternatives, the chocolate mouse writes.
“In many recipes 200 grams”
– I need to change the size of the economic chocolate when a couple of my standard recipes have just 200 g. You will no longer be able to bake it unless you buy an extra disc, which then needs to come up with. Probably it is a back idea, forced to buy an extra disc. Well, I’ll switch to another baking chocolate rather, in the future, the chocolate torque is annoyed.
– For decades, certain baking recipes have required its 200 g of chocolate. In the future, I will use anything other than Fazer. It is ridiculous that the price per kilo of chocolate in Finland is overpriced, says Buu.
– Annoying, baking a lot of chocolate and when the size decreases, you have to buy two discs instead of one disc if/when there are 200 g of chocolate in the instruction, Amanda calculates.
– I think it’s just greed behind the decision. Now that most recipes have 200 g of chocolate, you have to buy 2 discs instead of one, cheat inches.
– In some baking recipes, which I often use how, economic chocolate needs 200 g. That is, two discs should be bought in the future. It seems a bit useless, of course I should try to see if a smaller amount is enough, says less in the future.
– Now the price is high, but as the size decreases, the price is likely to remain as high. Many baking guidelines contain 200 g of chocolate. Now you should buy 2 discs if you want to follow the recipe. So, let the chocolates not buy in the future, the chocolate mouse decides.
“Otherwise, it doesn’t hurt, but it’s just about the accordion to buy two discs because of some pastry recipe, some of which stay in the closet,” Suvi84 regrets.
“It is healthy to reduce unit sizes”
– When I look at children, adolescents, adults, I notice an increased overweight and I am worried about health risks. So I am delighted with the reduction of the packaging sizes of all kinds of fattening delicacies, aunt-man thanks.
– In my childhood, the chocolate bars were 170g that this is not such a revolutionary thing. Sometimes it may be quite healthy to reduce unit sizes and not always go bigger and larger, Ebba recalls.
– Very good. It should be more reduced and the price will stay the same. There is so much obesity and overweight in Finland, and the production of big records is not in any way to curb that epidemic, on the contrary. You should also get the candy bags diminish, Leena hopes.
– Completely understandable. In any case, eating chocolate and other sweets must be reduced. That’s how it goes, Jallu thanks.
– A very good reform also for health reasons because there is a real obesity problem in Finland. Add smaller candy bags to the selection. The tax is also higher in all unhealthy products, says Mimmis.
“Fully understandable”
– I buy the same amount of chocolate as before. Fazer comes out of his own initiative with his honesty. Which is a respectable business. I greatly appreciate this output, KKK says.
– Completely understandable, high price of cocoa. Maybe I’ll buy a little more, Ressu promises.
– There’s nothing bad about it, provided that the price of that 180 gram disc is then 10% cheaper. I do not believe this myself, but otherwise the size of the album doesn’t matter, except that you have to eat 20 grams less at a time, says it.
– I find it quite understandable that the size will be reduced, otherwise the price would rise. I will continue to buy as many chocolate albums – and specifically my favorite Fazer blue – as before, only one may be the best name.
