The accident happened on July 15 in the National Toveressestraat. The cyclist was slowly passed by a car and fell shortly thereafter. Possibly he faltered the car or he lost the balance. He was seriously injured. However, he was wearing a helmet.
The man had to go to AZ Delta in a critical condition, and has now died of his injuries.
