The police have traced a drug lord from Geertruidenberg abroad and had it picked up. These are Giuliano A. (54) aka ‘Gandhi’. He was sentenced to more than eight years in prison last year, but took his legs.
Investigation of the specialist team FastNL led to Slovakia. With the help of the Austrian and Slovak police, the net joined the Brabander. Action followed on Monday. According to the OM he tried to flee by driving away, but the Slovak police managed to drive him and hit him. The Netherlands has asked for its tradition.
Cryptotphones
The arrested man would have been busy with large -scale trade in all kinds of drugs from October 2019. The case came rolling in September 2020. The American FBI had come across an international drug line and tipped the Dutch police. He saw that the suspects chat with each other about drugs via cryptotphones of the brand Anom.

In April 2024 he was sentenced by the Overijssel court in Zwolle to more than 8 years in prison and a fine of 72,000 euros. According to the court, he was a member of a criminal organization that dealt with international drug trafficking on a large scale.
For example, he had a leading role in the smuggling of cocaine in banana boxes, among other things, which came by ship from Colombia to Hamburg. The criminal organization was also involved in the trade in Ketamine and MDMA. The drugs were sold to customers in Sweden and Australia, among others.

There were several smuggling lines and the organization was constantly working to optimize the lines and to develop new smuggling methods with a view to frequent deliveries of drugs from South America to the Netherlands and other countries. ”The court wrote, among other things, in its verdict.
