Auri Kananen, a cleaning queen, tells about the challenges of buying a new home. He is his spouse Sami Salminen I’ve been looking for a new home for about a year and a half, but it hasn’t been right. First told about the matter Ilta-Sanomat.
Kananen tells Iltalehti that they are basically looking for a spacious detached house in the Tampere area. There should be 150-200 squares in the new home.
– I have so many cleaning supplies that I can’t hear it in the garage just, Kananen laughs.
There are other wishes for the house.
– It would be nice if there were two garages, but now nothing is necessary. Neat and relatively new. High windows would be nice.
However, one absolute criterion is. The couple doesn’t want home from the water. No water, beach or swimming pool.
– I don’t like water, Kananen emphasizes.
Kananen reveals that in the future their wish is to build their own house.
– We can’t start renovating anything now, when we may have thought about building at some point. It depends a bit if it was perfect now, then it could be the home of the rest of your life.
Tight schedule
However, finding a new home is already in a hurry. Kananen is waiting for the couple’s firstborn and the calculated time is at the end of October. The wish would be to change during the summer.
– We offered one house, but the sellers said they could sell in October. But now it will no longer benefit us.
Kananen says that the family can fit into the current apartment with the child. However, when the baby was born, the space would need a little more.
– We have 84 square meters that not. But of course it is nice if there was even more space. That there would be two bathrooms and a utility room.
According to Kananen, the budget for a new home is half a million euros.
– We have such a fork and now even more expensive is even terribly.
A new phase of life
Kananen told about his pregnancy in April. At the same time, he announced that he would stop cleaning.
– I had decided to stop when I got pregnant, Kananen said earlier.
Kananen met her husband at the very beginning of her someura. The couple started dating and became engaged in 2022.
In the summer of 2023, however, the couple ended up eating together and soon returned. At the beginning of this year, Kananen learned that she was pregnant.
