Marianne Vos (38) from Babyloniënbroek recaptured the yellow jersey in the Tour de France Femmes. She became second in this third stage.
Lorena Wiebes became first on Monday. After 163.5 kilometers between La Gacilly and Angers, the European Champion was the best in the sprint of a small group after a fall. She stayed ahead of Marianne Vos.
Vos recaptured the yellow jersey thanks to the bonus seconds of her second place. In the general classification she has six seconds ahead of Le Court.
Vos says to the NOS: “I was in good position, but never came out of the wheel. That I have the yellow sweater back is very beautiful.”
Marianne Vos won the yellow sweater on Saturday, in the first stage, when she was the first to cross the finish line. A day later she finished fifth and she lost the sweater.
