The fourth (obtained in race-1) and the twelfth Sunday place on the weekend of Nick Cassidy (Jaguar), absolute star of the Marvel Fantastic Four London ePrix 2025they best photograph the fluctuating trend of the season of Vandoorne Stoffelface also known for fans of Formula 1who will remember him in the ranks of McLaren between 2016 and 2018. The Belgian, team pilot Maserati MSG Racing in the World Championship of Formula eis back from a vintage characterized by ups and downs, with the success of Tokyo, in the eighth round of the world championship series reserved for electric single -seater, which represents the only joy of the last few months. Let’s find out what its season’s balance is, its objectives for the next championship and also a first opinion on the fourth generation single -seater, which will be introduced from December 2026.

What is your budget for this season? Are you satisfied?
“The season was characterized by ups and downs. We had peaks, such as Tokyo’s victory in Race-1. But also on other occasions, although not particularly in the spotlight, we did well. For example, in Jeddah, where we finished qualifying in third position but we were forced to shoot from the bottom of the grill due to a disqualification. On that occasion, despite the starting position, we managed to close in sixth position. In fact, some good results also away from the radar. and then there were also several missed opportunities, in which things did not go in the right and in which we have been a little unfortunate. states that can maximize potential “.

Next season will be the last with this single -seater generation. What do you think you need to do better: do you have to focus more on the execution of work on the weekend of the tender or on the improvement of performance?
“Honestly, I think it is a combination of both. We know we have to improve our performance a little, but we must also take steps from an operational point of view. The level of the championship is very high, we fight against big brands and teams. To win a championship like this you must be perfect in every weekend. It is a combination of the work of us pilots and the work of the team that must be ensured that everything is placed. Ingredients together.

Have you already made any ideas on the fourth generation single -seater? Are you enthusiastic about the change that will be there or is it still too early to think about it?
“We still have to see the machines, of course. We have heard of the regulatory gearbox and we have managed to see some data. They seem very promising, but to give a real judgment we must wait to drive the single -seater in the first person. In any case, the new generation of single -seater should represent an important step forward at the level of power and from the aerodynamic point of view. It will probably be one of the greatest changes in the history of the Formula E”.

This year Oliver Rowland has made himself the protagonist of an incredible season. Next year the rest of the grid will try to challenge him: do you think you will be able to fight for the title?
“We all have to do something more to be able to challenge it. He had a fantastic season, he deserved to win the title. It has been the most solid during the season. All we have to try to reach his level. The formula is unpredictable, there are many changes from year to year. The number of different world champions that have been there over the years proves it. It is therefore very difficult to predict how it will go next season. to fight for the championship “.
