In the customs dispute with the European Union, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen meets with US President Donald Trump in Scotland this Sunday.
The decision was made after a “good phone call” with Trump, wrote by the Leyen on the X. platform should be discussed. The “transatlantic trade relationships” and how they can be kept strong.
“The biggest deal of all”

Trump had just finished 15 percent with Japan – this is significantly less than originally planned. The United States has also been negotiating with the EU for weeks about a trade deal, which Trump should still prevent tariffs from 30 percent from August 1st. The deadline runs in a week.
