World champion becomes a coach in Dubai

He is a football size and is now supposed to apply his knowledge in Dubai. Andrea Pirlo takes over a new coaching job there.
With Juventus Turin, Andrea Pirlo won the Italian trophy and the super cup in the 2020/21 season. He then worked in Turkey. Now the former world champion is moving to the United Arab Emirates. United FC from Dubai presented the Italian as the new head coach on Friday.
Club boss Ilie Cebanu said Pirlo embodied the “values and ambitions of the club”. One is convinced that he would play a key role in further “growth”. The 46-year-old worked in Italy, trained Sampdoria Genoa from 2023 to 2024. Previously, he was under contract with Juventus Turin and the Turkish first division club Fatih Karagümrük.
As a player, Pirlo shaped international football for many years. In 2006 he became world champion with Italy, plus six Italian championship titles, two cup wins and two successes in the Champions League.
