To fall was an Antonov 24 of the local airline Angara who was on duty from the city of Blagoveshchensk, close to the border with China, to the town of Tynda, a few hundred kilometers further north. The plane, taken off at 9:10 in the morning local time (2:10 at night in Italy) disappeared from the radar in the final part of the journey: the ongoing fuselage was spotted by a helicopter in a wooded area about 15 km away from the city of destination. In the area where the plane fell, the agency reported Interfaxthe weather conditions were adverse. The governor of the Vasily Orlov region said that all passengers, including five children, and crew members, six people, died in the crash.
