Eight injured in attack with car at bus stop in Israel

During an attack with a car on a bus stop near Kfar Yona, in the center of Israel, eight people were injured on Thursday. This is reported by the Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA).

According to MDA, two of the victims, young people in their twenties, are in a moderate state. Three others are only slightly injured. The wounded were transferred to the Hospitals Meir, Hillel Yaffe and Laniado.

According to police spokesman Aryeh Doron, a vehicle drove into several people at the intersection of Beit member, about 25 kilometers north of Tel Aviv. The driver fled. The car was later found in the neighborhood, without a driver.

The police started the search for the perpetrator with the support of helicopters, motorcycle agents and search dogs. A perimeter was set up around the bus shelter where the attack took place.
