The tournament also stopped in the second round for Jermaine Wattimena. Van Duijvenbode’s 37-year-old countryman looked at the second placed Englishman Luke Littler on his way to a stunt and won the first four legs: 4-0.
Wattimena then went out to 7-2. Littler was at the lesson on time and took six legs in a row: 7-8. Wattimena came alongside at 10-10, which required an extension. Littler used his seventh matchdart and won 13-11.
