Zverev apparently receives cancellation of star trainers

Germany’s best tennis player was associated with a well -known coach. But a collaboration now does not apparently become anything.
Alexander Zverev apparently has to do without a hoped-for coach coup shortly before the start of the Masters in Toronto. As the “Sport Bild” reports, Toni Nadal rejected a permanent commitment to the team of German tennis professionals.
According to information from the sheet, Toni Nadal justified his decision with temporal restrictions. Between his work in the academy, various lectures and the position as tournament director at the ATP tournament in Mallorca, there is no room for the intensive care of a top player.
However, Zverev is still invited to train in Manacor – Toni Nadal is available for individual units.
In the past, the Hamburg team had repeatedly worked with prominent trainers such as Juan Carlos Ferrero, Ivan Lendl, Sergi Bruguera and David Ferrer. However, the joint phases with them were short -lived (you can read more about this here).
In the meantime, Zverev has left Mallorca and traveled to Canada, where he will open at the Masters tournament in Toronto from July 27th. There he is again looked after by his father Alexander Zverev Senior. The Masters is considered a preparation tournament for the last Grand Slam of the Year, the US Open in New York (Start 24 August).
