It happened in the night from Sunday 9 to Monday 10 June around 1.30 a.m. At the height of Kleinpolderplein The taxi was chased by a car with a Belgian license plate, RTV Rijnmond wrote earlier.
The vehicles would have collided with each other, after which shots were fired on the taxi. Whether that is true is still part of the police investigation.
The Belgian car fled anyway and was later found without a passenger (s) in a street in the east of The Hague.
Zandvoorter (17) suspect
The police now report that they received several tips and have arrested four suspects. They all come from Noord-Holland. It is a 17-year-old from Zandvoort and three Amsterdammers, 16, 17 and 24 years old.
They are stuck and are accused of attempted manslaughter.
